COPAS OKC President’s Message

I hope everyone enjoyed last month’s luncheon meeting, and our speaker, COPAS Executive Director Steve Irizarry.  Steve gave an excellent overview of the activities of COPAS at the National Level, and I hope he inspired some of you to attend the upcoming National Meeting in Santa Barbara.  Having attended numerous National Meetings, I can tell you first hand that the Committee meetings give a great perspective on current thinking within our industry, and the  networking opportunities are absolutely amazing.  On top of that, both the venue and the social activities for the Santa Barbara meeting are a tremendous draw.  I hope to see some of you there.  You won’t regret it.

This month’s COPAS-OKC monthly meeting will return to our usual dinner meeting format.  If anyone shows up for lunch by mistake, please wait for us!  Our speaker will be Norman Herrera, a Senior Coordinator for Market Development in Chesapeake’s Oklahoma City Corporate Development office.  He will be speaking on CNG, which has become a very hot topic.  It should be quite interesting and informative.
